For the next few months visitors to Sugar House Park will see changes in the park related to the construction of Parley’s Trail through the park. Construction has begun on the large berm that must be built to bring the trail up to the level of 1700 East in Sugar House Park.
Construction fencing has been erected in the southeast side of the Park near 1700 East. Trees in this area that have to be removed will be replaced at a 2:1 ratio, resulting in a net increase in the number of trees in the park upon completion of the trail.
