Mulch Madness Details:

  • Meet at the new Fabian Lakeside Pavilion

  • 1 PM – 4 PM (join for one, two, or three hours)

  • Bring gloves, sunscreen, flat-edge shovel, wheel barrel, and refillable bottle.

Volunteers will use shovels and/or hands to remove grass from the base of the trees and move mulch to each tree to create a ring around the base. This is to prepare the initial thirty-five (35) specimen trees in Sugar House Park for submission to ArbNet.org for a Level 1 Arboretum Accreditation.
