Salt Lake County completed an inventory of 1,079 trees in Sugar House Park with 78 species.

CONCEPT PLAN

The Sugar House Park Arboretum Concept Plan contains 15 zones with a designated focus. Arborists from Salt Lake County and TreeUtah have compiled a list of relevant and viable species for each zone.​ The concept plan and tree species list are specifically to guide future tree plantings in the park toward an overall vision.
