PARLEY'S CREEK PAVILION

Best pavilion for

  • Family gatherings with kids who like playgrounds

The Parley's Creek Pavilion is accessible from the last left-hand turn off the loop road. It is centrally located between two restrooms and adjacent to the Parley's Creek playground.
 

Big Field Pavilion has:

  • Parking lot with ~48 parking stalls

  • Seating capacity for ~109 people

  • A power outlet on each pavilion column facing towards the inside of the pavilion

  • Photosensor lights that turn on automatically at dusk

  • Drinking fountain with two bubblers, a bottle filler, and a dog bowl

  • Covered flex space

  • Uncovered flex space

Rent the Pavilion:

  • May 1 – September 30
    Pavilion reservations open on the Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation website on March 1st of every year for the summer season, May 1–September 30. Pavilions are not reservable on any state holidays.

  • October 1 – April 31
    Complete a Special Event Request Form to reserve a pavilion outside of the summer season and up to one year in advance.​


Notice:​ Sugar House Park is winterized every fall to protect the park's water systems from freezing temperatures. Water is turned off to the drinking fountains and restrooms. Only the Fabian Lakeside restroom remains operational year-round.
