April 7, 2026, Salt Lake City Council to Consider Rezone to Property at 2111 S. 1300 E., and amend the Sugar House Master Plan to allow the development of a hotel.

Parks are traditional public forums for First Amendment activities, protected under both state and federal constitutions. Sugar House Park, as a public park under the jurisdiction of both Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County, follows the same rules as both jurisdictions, including those governing free speech activities.
