SLC Park Code 15.08.100 FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, AND EXPLOSIVES
No person shall carry or discharge any firearms, firecrackers, rockets, torpedoes, powder, or any other fireworks or explosives. (Ord. 49-15, 2015)
Fireworks are not allowed in Sugar House Park. Sugar House Park's 4th of July fireworks show ended in 2019, and there are no holiday events in the park.
Pavilions are not open for reservations on state holidays — they are first-come, first-served.

The Governor has banned all fireworks statewide through at least July 5, 2026. That means no fireworks of any kind are allowed for the Fourth of July this year, no matter where you live.
